Insert the OTHER last into the shoe (unless you are making straight shoes, in which case use the same last that you made the shoe on).  This will allow you to do any finishing things you need to do to the shoe, like smoothing the leather from the turning, and ...

Use ye olde hammer to flatten the sole seam to the last inside the shoe.
