I should explain that this is my interpretation of the early family structure, based on the documentation extant where verified, and some material from individuals that is noted as unverified. Do not assume that just because I say it, it must therefore be true. There are several different interpretations of the data as given below. This material is based on transcriptions of information collected by myself and others. That means that these are prone to normal human error. If your records differ, or if you have copies of census data that reflect different information, please let me know.
