LORD DARNLEY'S CUFF

THE cuff or gauntlet, from a glove, said to have been worked by Mary, Queen of Scots, and worn by Lord Darnley in 1555. The designs are in various coloured silks and silver thread, and the edges of the gauntlet are finished off with lace.
They were No. 349 in the Catalogue of the Exhibition of Stuart Relics at the New Gallery, London, in 1889, and are the property of W. Murray Threipland, Esqr.
