This website provides more information about research on recovery from resources such as coal-bed methane, tight gas sands and gas hydrates. Particular attention is paid to well completions strategy and well productivity.

Geologic sequestration of carbon is gaining importance as a method to eliminate greenhouse emissions by storing them in another confined location such as deep saline aquifers, unmineable coal-beds, and depleted oil and gas fields.
