BOGGSITE

International Zeolite Association Framework Designation: BOG

Boggsite is a naturally occuring mineral (as are a number of zeolites). Boggsite is important because it contains 10- and 12-ring pores that intersect nominally perpendicular. When you open up the VRML framework given here, you will initially be looking down the 12-ring pores. Now, set your viewer to spin or rotate, and rotate the structure about the horizontal axis. You will see the 10-ring pores appear!
