Summary
Review of basic statistical mechanics: detailed balance, harmonic oscillator, Bose and Fermi gases, interacting classical gas, basic phenomenology of phase transitions, Ising model, mean-field theory, dynamics of thermal fluctuations, fluctuation dissipation theory, Langevin equation, diffusion, Monte Carlo calculations.
