The Bups on “Workin‘ It”
Workin’ It is probably my personal favorite album. Again, like the Rock Opera, it
did not get received as well as it should have. Most of the songs are all improvisation.
I end up basically doing 90% of all the singing for the album. It does contain my, hands
down, favorite Bups song “Work it in the Future.” This is one of the few albums where we
made an effort to use other instruments and work with the computer to make it more ‘studio’.
This is the only album that I really have listened to in my leisure time. Overall - God Damn
that’s a good album!
Tidbits on “Workin‘ It”
- The voice of the Doctor is a combination of ‘The I can’t believe it man”, a voice I do,
and the singer from Murray Head(you won’t recognize em’ Its actually just from 1 Murray Head song,
I don‘t know anything about them.)
We are pleased to present Dan and the Bups' epic musical experience "Workin' It!" comercial free.
It is the story of Lewis, a boy born without the ability to work it. Along with the help of his father and
his neighbors, he goes on a quest to find the electrical-radioactive spider whose bite will give him
the power to work it. The evil doctor, whose balls are a stake, will let nothing get in his way in his
quest to insult Lewis and the others. Will good triumph over evil? Will everything wrap up nicely?
