This is Diarmaid's official SCA-registered name. This name was registered in September of 1990 (via Ansteorra). The following device associated with this name was registered in June of 1991 (via Ansteorra): His arms, granted by the Crown of Ansteorra in November of 1996 are "Per bend sable and vert a Bengal tiger rampant Or marked sable and in sinister chief a grenade Or". Diarmait was admitted to the Order of the Iris of Merit of Ansteorra in summer of 1998. He received a Sable Thistle for research in November 2001. He also has a Crimson Star from the Barony of Northkeep, given January 2003. In June of 2004 he was admitted to the Order of the Lion's Paw of Kenmare for the Barony of Northkeep. On December 4 2004, he was admitted to the Order of the Laurel of the SCA.* He received a Caisteal Cridhe from the Barony of Northkeep, given June 2007. In October 2009 he was given the accolade of a Sable Shield for his mundane military service.
Don't pay much attention to the spelling since no one never actually uses this spelling.

Diarmait was born in or around AS XIX in the shire of Mooneschadowe in Ansteorra and his first event was a Medfaire at the Barony of Namron. In AS XX he did a brief stint as A&S Minister for Mooneschadowe. Then he married the then Talina (now Talana) the Violet and moved to Northkeep. He has been the webminster (although in Ansteorra they call these "virtual scribes" and they are currently deputies to the Chronicler's office) for the Barony of Northkeep
